Dawn's Terlingua Chili Con Carne With Beans

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 -2 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 lbs stew meat
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- meat tenderizer (optional)
- seasoning salt
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 cups catsup
- 1 onion
- 1 green pepper
- 2 cans of small red beans (drained and rinsed)
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle meat with tenderizer and seasoning salt.
- 2 marinate in worcestershire sauce for 30-60 minutes.
- 3 chop up green pepper and onion.
- 4 brown meat and add vegetables.
- 5 heat water in a large pot and add meat and vegetable mixture.
- 6 add remaining ingredients, except beans.
- 7 simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
- 8 add beans 15-20 minutes before serving.
