Cranberry-almond Squash

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 4 cups squash, cooked and mashed
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
Recipe
- 1 combine squash, 2 t butter, salt and spices.
- 2 place in 2 quart buttered baking dish.
- 3 stir cranberries and spoon over squash.
- 4 combine almonds, brown sugar and butter.
- 5 sprinkle over cranberries.
- 6 bake uncovered 350 for 1 hour or until browned and bubbly.
