Cold Asparagus With Walnuts

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup crushed walnuts
  • black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook the tender tips of the asparagus in salt water until just tender.
  • 2 drain.
  • 3 in a medium bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar; whisk until blended and stir in walnuts.
  • 4 combine asparagus and dressing and toss gently.
  • 5 refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 6 arrange on a platter and sprinkle with black pepper.
  • 7 serve.
