Copycat Outback Steakhouse Argentine Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons thyme, stemmed and chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt or 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a food processor combine all ingredients.
  • 2 puree until fine and smooth, around 2 minutes.
  • 3 place in a covered dish and chill for 1 hour, up to three days.
