Bacon Fried Carrots

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 lbs carrots
- 2 medium onions
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon accent seasoning
- 8 slices bacon
Recipe
- 1 peel carrots, cut in half and slice lengthwise.
- 2 chop onion into small pieces.
- 3 cook bacon until crisp; remove and blot.
- 4 using all the bacon grease, add carrots, onions and seasonings.
- 5 mix well and cook covered on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
- 6 cook uncovered about 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
- 7 stir occasionally.
- 8 crumble bacon and add to carrots.
