Colonel Sanders' Transparent Squash

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 cups acorn squash or 3 cups hubbard squash
  • 1 teaspoon ground mace
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe

  • 1 cut the squash into 1 inch cubes.
  • 2 sprinkle on the mace and salt.
  • 3 add sugar, butter and water, which should completely cover the squash.
