Caraway Sauerkraut Bake

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 lb bacon, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (27 ounce) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (8 ounce) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seed

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 in a skillet cook bacon and onion until bacon is crisp; drain.
  • 3 add all remaining ingredients.
  • 4 transfer to an ungreased 2 quart baking dish.
  • 5 bake, uncovered, for 30-35 minute or until heated through.
