Collard Greens With Neckbones

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 lbs lamb necks
  • 4 lbs collard greens
  • 1/2 cup bacon drippings
  • 1 tablespoon lawry's seasoned salt
  • 4 red pepper pods
  • 1 large onion

Recipe

  • 1 prepare neckbones by washing them in warm to hot water with a little kosher salt. set aside.
  • 2 chop onion in bite size pieces.
  • 3 in a large pot add bacon grease and onions. cook until onions start to caramelize.
