Creamed Peas

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can peas (drained)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (or more to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat, then add flour and stir until blended.
  • 2 stir in milk and salt, pepper, and sugar bring to a boil and stir until thick.
  • 3 reduce heat add peas and heat until warm.
