Bourbon Bacon Brownies

Ingredients

• Servings: 4
• 1 (20 ounce) box brownie mix (betty crocker dark chocolate)
• water (amt on box)
• vegetable oil (amt on box)
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup bacon, cooked crumbled
• 3 tablespoons bourbon
• 1/4 cup bourbon (reserve for end)

Recipe

• 1 follow directions on back of brownie box regarding baking using an 8 x 8-inch pan.
• 2 prepare brownie mix according to package instructions. fold in crumbled bacon and stir in 3 tbsp bourbon.
• 3 pour brownie batter into a lightly greased 8 x 8-inch pan. bake as directed on package or until a toothpick inserted two inches from the edge of the pan comes out mostly clean.
• 4 remove brownies from oven and immediately pour 1/4 cup bourbon on them. cool in refrigerator completely before slicing and serving.
