Canned Banana Peppers In Red Sauce

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 60 banana peppers
  • 4 cups vegetable oil
  • 4 cups vinegar
  • 64 ounces ketchup
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 tablespoons pickling spices
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 wash pepper and vertically slice them -- some people like to cut them in rings. and stuff in sterile jars.
  • 2 add ingredients in large sauce pan and bring to boil. pour over peppers in jars. listen for the pop!
