Creamy Chicken Chili

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, boneless skinless, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, saute chicken, onion and garlic in oil until chicken is no longer pink.
  • 2 add beans, broth, chilies, and seasonings.
  • 3 bring to a boil. reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • 4 remove from the heat; stir in sour cream, and cream. serve immedately.
