Country French Chicken

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 package knorr vegetable soup mix
  • 1 slice lemon
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry dill weed

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, melt margarine over medium high heat.
  • 2 add chicken and saute for 5 minutes.
  • 3 stir in water, soup mix and lemon.
  • 4 bring to a boil.
  • 5 reduce heat to low.
  • 6 cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  • 7 remove chicken and discard lemon.
  • 8 in small bowl, combine sour cream, corn starch and dill weed.
  • 9 add to skillet, stirring constantly.
  • 10 bring to a boil over medium high heat.
  • 11 reduce heat, simmer 1 minute.
  • 12 serve over chicken.
