Cream-filled Cupcakes

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 18 1/4 ounces chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 for shiny metal or glass pan or 325 for dark or nonstick pan.
  • 2 beat cake mix, water, oil, and 3 eggs in large bowl on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. set aside.
  • 3 in a separate bowl, cream together cream cheese and sugar.
  • 4 add egg and salt and mix well.
  • 5 fold in chocolate chips.
  • 6 fill paper-lined muffin tins 1/2 full with batter.
  • 7 drop 1 rounded teaspoon cream filling on each cupcake.
  • 8 bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
