Chile Relleno Casserole

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb monterey jack cheese, grated
  • 1 lb cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 (27 ounce) can whole green chilies
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/3 cup flour

Recipe

  • 1 wash & drain and seed chiles, put one layer chiles in a 9 x 13 inch casserole pan.
  • 2 top with a layer of both cheeses. repeat another layer of chilies and cheeses.
  • 3 beat eggs add milk and flour. beat again until smooth.
  • 4 pour milk mixture over chilies and cheese.
  • 5 bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
