Cornbread Cake

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 1/2 cups self rising flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2 grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • 3 sift the flour into a mixing bowl.
  • 4 add the sugars, oil, eggs, vanilla, and the pecans.
  • 5 mix well.
  • 6 pour into pan and spread evenly, making sure to get it into the pan corners.
  • 7 bake about 35 minutes, or until it tests done.
