Corned Beef

Total Time: 4 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 4 -6 lbs corned beef brisket
  • 2 tablespoons pickling spices
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery & leaves, sliced
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1/4 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 line shallow pan with heavy foil.
  • 2 put corned beef in center of foil & pour water over top.
  • 3 sprinkle with spices & arrange vegetables over & around meat.
  • 4 seal meat, bringing foil ends up so juice cannot run out.
  • 5 bake at 300f for 4 hours.
  • 6 let cool & slice thinly.
