Creamed Swede

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 swedes, about 1 kg, coarsely chopped
  • 125 ml pouring cream

Recipe

  • 1 place swede in pot, cover with water.
  • 2 bring to the boil over high heat, cook till tender about 30 minutes.
  • 3 drain well, pulse in food processor till smooth.
  • 4 return to saucepan, add cream.
  • 5 stir over medium heat till thick, about 3 minutes.
  • 6 season to taste.
