Corn-onion Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 eggs, seperated
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (14 ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 1 (2 7/8 ounce) can french fried onion rings, divded

Recipe

  • 1 beat eggs yolks until think and lemon colored.
  • 2 add next 4 ingredients and blend well.
  • 3 stir in 1 cup french fried onions.
  • 4 fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. pour mixture into a 1-1/2 quart ungreased casserole dish.
  • 5 bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until firm.
  • 6 top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.
  • 7 serve immediately.
