Charred Broccoli

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 dash olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 red chili, chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 head broccoli, chopped into florets
  • handful almonds

Recipe

  • 1 saute the garlic and chilli in a large frying pan or wok with some salt to taste.
  • 2 add the broccoli and lemon juice, cover and steam until almost done.
  • 3 remove lid, add almonds and cook on high heat until broccoli is a bit charred, but still bright green.
