Company Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 center-cut lamb loin chops
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2/3 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Recipe
- 1 place oil in saute pan, brown lamb chops over medium heat.
- 2 remove chops from pan.
- 3 add onions, and saute 'til translucent.
- 4 add broth and seasoning.
- 5 return lamb chops to pan, cover and simmer over low heat for 30 - 40 minutes (depending on thickness of lamb chops).
- 6 do not allow the pan to go dry, add water/broth if needed.
- 7 remove lamb chops to serving platter. mix sour cream with pan juices and heat. do not boil.
- 8 pour the gravy over the lamb chops and serve!
