Baked Onion Slices

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
- 4 medium onions, peeled
Recipe
- 1 in a small bowl, combine mustard, oil, honey, sage, pepper and salt.
- 2 slice onions crosswise into 1/2 inch thick slices.
- 3 place in single layer in greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
- 4 brush generously with mustard mixture.
- 5 cover with foil, bake 425f (220c) oven for 15 minutes.
- 6 remove foil and bake 10-15 minutes longer or until tender.
