Baked Onion Slices

Total Time: 38 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage, crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
  • 4 medium onions, peeled

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl, combine mustard, oil, honey, sage, pepper and salt.
  • 2 slice onions crosswise into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  • 3 place in single layer in greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
  • 4 brush generously with mustard mixture.
  • 5 cover with foil, bake 425f (220c) oven for 15 minutes.
  • 6 remove foil and bake 10-15 minutes longer or until tender.
