Ingredients
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaf
- 2 shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
Recipe
- 1 in a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients except the oil, and blend until smooth.
- 2 with the machine running, add the oil in a slow steady stream until incorporated.
