Chicken Paprika

Ingredients

- 1 chicken, cut up
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 2 large tomatoes, coarsely chopped
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Recipe
- 1 season chicken with salt and pepper. in a large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. brown chicken on all sides, 10 minutes. remove and set aside.
- 2 add onion to the pan. cook, stirring, until tender and beginning to brown, 5-10 minutes.
- 3 add tomatoes and paprika. return chicken to pan. cover and simmer 30-40 minutes until tender.
- 4 remove chicken to a serving platter. stir in sour cream. heat until warm. do not boil.
- 5 season with salt and pepper to taste. pour over chicken.
