Chicken Paprika

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 chicken, cut up
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 2 large tomatoes, coarsely chopped
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 season chicken with salt and pepper. in a large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. brown chicken on all sides, 10 minutes. remove and set aside.
  • 2 add onion to the pan. cook, stirring, until tender and beginning to brown, 5-10 minutes.
  • 3 add tomatoes and paprika. return chicken to pan. cover and simmer 30-40 minutes until tender.
  • 4 remove chicken to a serving platter. stir in sour cream. heat until warm. do not boil.
  • 5 season with salt and pepper to taste. pour over chicken.
