Chinese Hot Pot

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 4 (13 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 cup wine
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles, broken in half (discard seasoning packet)
  • 8 ounces frozen oriental-style vegetables
  • 1 (4 ounce) can baby corn, drained
  • 1 cup fresh snow pea
  • 1 lb chicken, cut in bite sized pieces
  • 1 bunch watercress, trimmed
  • 4 green onions, cut in 1 inch lengths

Recipe

  • 1 combine broth, wine and soy sauce in large saucepan. heat to boiling.
  • 2 add noodles, vegetables and chicken. heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender and chicken is cooked, 5-8 minutes. remove pan from heat.
  • 3 stir in watercress and onions.
