Creole Lamb Chops

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 16 ounces lamb loin chops, boneless
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients; rub over both sides of lamb.
  • 2 in a large skillet, brown lamb chops in oil over medium heat. add the remaining ingredients. cover and cook 15-20 minutes longer or until meat is tender.
