Creole Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon basil, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 16 ounces lamb loin chops, boneless
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, chopped
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
Recipe
- 1 in a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients; rub over both sides of lamb.
- 2 in a large skillet, brown lamb chops in oil over medium heat. add the remaining ingredients. cover and cook 15-20 minutes longer or until meat is tender.
